Tweaks

  1. Great weeknight dinner. Used fresh mushrooms and garlic and a can of beef broth instead of water. Tossed in a chug of red wine, and doubled the worcestershire sauce. However I think next time I will thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch.

  2. Such an easy recipe that comes together in no time. I did make some changes, used leftover roast beef and used beef broth instead of water. I will be making this one often. Tou could also sub chicken or ham easily for a different take and maybe add some cheese. Thanks for posting!!

  3. I wanted a recipe without the proverbial cream of mushroom soup and this one fit the bill. The only change I made was to use a cup of beef broth instead of water. I think that extra flavor really brought it all together. I also added about a teaspoon of cracked black pepper. Very easy to make and on the table in less than an hour. Thanks for a great recipe!

  4. This was okay. I would not add any salt as the onion soup mix and the w-sauce have plenty and it seemed a bit too salty (and I even used garlic powder instead of garlic salt). I also eliminated the extra onions and I'm glad I did because there's enough in the soup mix. The family all thought this was just okay.

  5. Excellent! I used ground turkey instead of the ground beef and left out the mushrooms. This is definitly a keeper... and from the mouth of my 6 year old, A+++!
