Directions

  1. Mix beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Divide into 8 portions and gently shape and flatten into patties 3 inches by 1/4 inch.
  3. Slice green pepper, onions and tomato into rings.
  4. Place one slice of each on four patties.
  5. Cover with remaining patties sealing them on all sides by pressing two meat layers together.
  6. Broil about 3 inches from heat on each side for 10 to 12 minutes.
