  • Break egg in cup.
  • Add milk & beat with fork.
  • Mix flour, baking powder & salt.
  • Add egg & milk and mix.
  • Batter will be stiff.
  • Drop in little pieces on end of spoon into boiling soup.

  1. As per recipe.....No mention as to length of time to cook after dropping into stock. Cooked 5 min covered........5 min uncovered @ a simmer short time as per usual dumplings for a 10/10 minute time. Bucket 'o mush! Nothing firm here. Sorry, Janae.........nothing fun here, eh!
     
  2. I just made the dumplings following your recipe. Mine turned out really big and kind of mushy. Should I have covered them? Thank you!
