Haroset (Passover Sweets)

"Found on the net. I haven't made these yet but plan to do so in the very near future. These look like they would taste really neat and are so easy to prepare."

  • In a processor, coarsely grind the nuts together. Add the dates and raisins. Continue to grind everything together until you reach a consistency that is smooth but still has some texture.
  • Prepare balls of the mixture about 3/4-inch in diameter. Put each ball on a small square of wax paper.
  • Serve when wanted during Passover.

  1. These "sweets" weren't very sweet, but they were almost peanutbuttery in flavor. I rolled the balls around dehydrated blueberries. Very nice on the dessert tray I brought to a friend's house this weekend. Something good for people who are watching their sweet intake or who are diabetic.
