  1. Defrost hash browns slightly, so able to put into large greased baking dish.
  2. Melt cheese and butter together either in microwave or stovetop.
  3. Pour half& half into cheese mixture and mix well.
  4. Pour mixture over potatoes.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
