  1. Oh boy,oh boy,just lovely! I had forgotten about american hash and enjoyed fixing it and eating it.When I lived in the States I sometimes made it also with 1/2 potatoes and 1/2 beets and ofcourse the fried egg on top! Thank you very much for this recipe,will make it regular.
     
  2. This dish is what hash is all about! Simple, easy, delish and a great way to use up leftover beef or pork roast and also leftover smoked or boiled ham. We also like it topped with eggs and a side of buttered grits.
     
  3. This is an old standby favorite of mine. I add a fried egg to top it off in the Scandinavian style - with or without the egg it tastes great.
