ingredients
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1⁄2 cup sultana (golden raisins)
- 1⁄2 cup milk (use low fat if you wish)
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 2 cups boiling water
directions
- Mix together the first 3 ingredients in a medium casserole dish. Add the milk and stir until blended.
- Stir the butter, syrup and water together and pour over.
- Bake at 180C (350F) for 30-40 minutes.
- Serve with cream or icecream.
