Hawaiian Ham Bake

"Great way to use that leftover ham after holiday meals. Also a nice casserole for those potluck dinners."

  • In a greased 2-qt. baking dish, layer ham, onion, green pepper, raisins and pineapple. In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, mustard and salt.
  • Stir in pineapple juice and vinegar until smooth.
  • Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  • Remove from the heat; stir in soy sauce. Pour over pineapple. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve over rice.

  1. I'm sorry, but I didn't like this. I was hoping it would live up to it's name and truly be a ham and pineapple flavored dish, which I would have enjoyed, but the sauce covers up that and really becomes an Asian type "Sweet and Sour" flavor, which I personally like to avoid. My husband said it was "alright," so I did give it three stars.
