- 1 1⁄4 lbs ground beef
- 2⁄3 cup cracker crumb
- 1⁄3 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 egg
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ginger
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 23 ounces chunk pineapple (reserve liquid)
- 1⁄3 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1⁄3 cup green pepper (Chopped)
directions
- Mix first 7 ingredients together, make mini meatballs. Melt shortening in fry pan & fry small meat balls. Pour fat from skillet & set aside meatballs. In small bowl, Mix cornstarch& sugar, stir in pineapple syrup, vinegar,& soy sauce, until smooth.Pour into skillet & cook until thickened. Add meatballs, pineapple & peppers. Heat through. Serve on rice or alone as an appetizer.
