ingredients

  • 2 ounces Bacardi dark rum (Bacardi Black Rum)
  • 2 ounces Southern Comfort
  • 6 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 dash grenadine, to taste

directions

  • Mix first three ingredients in a shaker of ice and pour over a glass of ice.
  • Add a splash of grenadine,toatse.
  • Enjoy!

  1. This was a tasty treat. For me I found it too much pineapple flavor and not sweet enough...but that is just me. I didn't have black rum either so I used some amber Jamaican rum I had picked up in Jamaica..powerful stuff... but yummy. Thanks for sharing MommyDiva.
     
  2. Yummy! I used a dark rum because I didn't have any black rum. Also I added a little more than a dash of grenadine. Perfect. Not too sweet. Made for This Round's on Me!
     
  3. I did the drink for me and my BF. It's more for 2 drinks I think. Unless to drink it in a Hurricane Glass. It's very good. Strong and just the right amount of sweetness. I didn't put a lot of grenadine. I used about 5 ounces of pineapple juice (that's all I got) Thanks MommyDiva :) Made for Beverage tag.
     
  4. I made 3 times the amount for three in a pitcure. This made enough for 4 drinks. Yummy!!!!! Strong and sweet! Thanks!
