Healthy Smoked Salmon Spread

"This recipe is posted for the ZWT and is adapted from the book “Quick and Healthy “Recipes and Ideas”. I like this recipe because it's a lighter version and so I can indulge a little and not feel too guilty. With smoked slamon in it this has to belong to ZWT REGION: Canada."

  1. This is quite tasty! I made just a few minor changes - used regular canned salmon (couldn't find canned smoked), left out the celery, and added a splash of hot sauce. Used lots of fresh ground pepper. Made as a sandwich spread and it worked brilliantly! Thanks for the recipe kiwidutch!

  2. I make this often in the summer to eat with crackers and a salad for a great lunch, and good for you. I don't put celery in mine but thr rest is pretty standard.

  3. Very nice! I got canned smoked salmon from Sam's club. I quartered the recipe. My DH and I enjoyed it on crackers. Thanks Kiwi!

  4. Made for PAC, Spring 2007 ~ VERY, VERY GOOD! I hardly ever have smoked salmon, & didn't this time, so used the liquid smoke AND some freshly baked salmon [Next time I want to make it with the smoked fish]! This was used as a dip, but first I tried it out on a toasted bagel ~ OUTSTANDING! Thanks for the posting!
