Directions

  1. Preheat skillet to 325°F
  2. Place butter into skillet to melt.
  3. Add dry rice mix (Rice-A-Roni) into skillet and sauté until vermicelli is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add ground beef and celery.
  5. Cook, stirring occassionally, until beef is no longer pink.
  6. Reduce heat to 275°F.
  7. Add water and rice seasoning packet.
  8. Stir until well mixed.
  9. Cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove cover and stir.
  11. Sprinkle cheese over the entire mixture and continue cooking until cheese has melted, about 1 minute.
