  1. I wasn't sure if we would like this or not, but boy was it good! So comforting and really simple to throw together. I did a few things differently: I put the veg in to cook along with the chicken instead of after, and I added the flour to the whole quantity of milk instead of just a portion of it.Also used dried egg noodles instead of frozen. With so few seasonings I wasn't sure if it would be too bland, but it was just right! It's like chicken pot pie but without the fuss of making pie crust or biscuit topping, and with the added bonus of noodles! I love noodles! My husband and I both went back for seconds, and we had two portions left over for lunch, too. We dig it, and will surely make again.

  2. This was soo good. I did it a little different though. I cooked chicken breasts in the water along with the carrots and celery. I added lots of garlic, salt, and pepper. I took the chicken out and shredded it. While I was doing that I put the noodles in the broth to cook. Once those were done I put the shredded chicken back in and added frozen corn then added the milk and flour. Very Good!!

  3. This is a 5 star recipe all the way! Everyone loved it. The only change I made was to use Amish noodles (not frozen). I added them after about 10 minutes of cooking. My frozen Reames noodles were freezer burnt. Great dinner and oh so comforting. Thanks so much for posting Judy!

  4. It may be sub-zero outside, but with this creamy, soothing dish, it's warm and comfy inside. Didn't have boullion, so substituted 4 cups of water with 4 cups of chicken broth. List of ingredients may appear intimidating, but this recipe comes together very quickly. Aside from the frozen noodles and fresh parsely, most of the ingredients are already on hand. Great choice for a cold winter's night!

  5. Oh yeah, this is one good dish! I originally got this recipe off the package of Reames frozen egg noodles. Just as written, it doesn't need any tweaking. It is a family favorite!
