Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 quarts popped corn
  • 1 13 cups pecans
  • 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup oleo
  • 12 cup Karo syrup

Directions

  1. Mix popped corn and nuts on a coolie sheet.
  2. Combine sugar,oleo and Karo in a 11/2 quart saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil 15 minutes or until mixture turns a light caramel colour.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in vanilla.
  7. Pour over popped corn and nuts.
  8. Mix to coat well.
  9. Spread to dry.
  10. Break apart and store in tightly covered container.
  11. Makes about 2 lbs.
