  1. What is High Mix setting? We just got a combo GE oven/micro/convect but I don't see that setting. It has Combination Fast Cook, could that be the same? Do you set a temperature? Thx! Going to try this soon!

Reviews

  1. First try on Frigidaire micro and convection combo. Used the Combi mode at 325° for 1 hour on a 4.72 lb chicken. Got a light brown crust, may have over done, haven't tried it yet.

  2. I just bought a brand new convection microwave, and was eager to try it out. I was quite impressed by how well this recipe turned out. This will definitely be one of my favorite methods from now on!

Hi! I am happily married with two children, 26 and 12. For nearly 10 years when this site was Recipezaar and then Food.com I hosted several different forums. I enjoyed making, creating, reviewing, and photographing recipes, but what I miss the most are the friendships I made here. I was Food Editor for the Mill Creek View Newspaper in Mill Creek, WA. for about 4 years during that time. Currently I am the office manager at a small mental health clinic. I'm not on this site much anymore, but I do continue to appreciate and respond to all reviews posted to my recipes.
