directions

  • Lightly beat the eggs and fry them, seasoning to taste with salt, pepper, and dill. Remove to a plate.
  • Spread margarine on one side of each slice of bread. Spread the other side of one slice with Miracle Whip. Place that slice in a hot skillet.
  • Top bread slice with fried eggs, turkey, swiss, and second slice of bread - butter side up. Brown sandwich on both sides.

Questions & Replies

  1. Have a couple questions..... can any type of sliced cheese (american or cheddar for example) be used, and best foods mayo be used instead of miracle whip and what would that do to the nutrition values of the sandwich if using a sour dough English muffin in stead of bread?

Reviews

  1. Good and easy. I used butter, mayonnaise, and an English muffin.

  2. This got 2 thumbs up from my two teenage sons, who just loved this. I was able to prepare 2 sandwiches very quickly by preheating the frying pan, then microwaving the eggs for 1 minute each, then assembling and grilling the sandwich. Thanks for such a good tasting and easy to prepare breakfast! Posted for 2013 Spring Pick-A-Chef.
