Hidden Valley Ranch Chicken

"I got this recipe from the back of a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing. It's simple to make (a must for me) and tasted delicious. I lost the recipe but from memory, here it is."

  1. My husband saw this same recipe off the ranch bottle a while ago and we've been making this once a week ever since! It is delicious! The only thing is the recipe calls for 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese in addition to the chedder cheese. Very good!

  2. I skipped the cheddar and just stirred some parm into the mixture before coating the chicken. My husband actually said "yummalicious" when he went to get seconds, so this one will be made again. Thanks for sharing a quick delish weeknight dinner.

  3. I forgot to take a picture, but it was good! The chicken was perfect - not dry at all, and the Ranch and cheese gave it a different taste. I will definitely use this recipe again! Yum!

  4. Chicken came out dry but still good. I added a little extra salt

  5. I was tired of making the same things over and over so I went looking for something fast, easy, and different. This was perfect and actually had ingredients that I always have on hand. The only thing I did different was after I coated the chicken in the ranch mix I sprinkled lemon pepper on top then put the cheese. It was so good. I was weary that my son wouldn't eat it because he doesn't like ranch, but he was the first one done! This will be a permanent dish in my kitchen!

Tweaks

  1. Very easy to make! We used boneless skinless chicken thighs in place of the breasts. Our kids gobbled it up, but my husband and I felt like it needed a little something extra. Next time I might add some mushrooms and crumbled bacon! Thanks so much SAMS_Club!

I'm a stay-home mom and love to make good, easy, fast, healthy food for my "SAMS Club". I enjoy making impressive dishes for guests and events too. It's very difficult to find dishes my kids enjoy as much as the "grown-ups" but the Zaar makes it easier for me.
