Hoisin-Marinated Pork Chops

"The chops need to marinate for at least 8 hours, so this is a great make-ahead dinner. Recipe is easily halved, but shredded chops make a great rice noodle salad ingredient."

  1. Excellent chops!!! Flavorful and juicy. Company worthy for sure. Thanks for posting.

  2. I just made these porkchops and loved them. My very picky husband loved them, too. He thought the flavor was spot on, I would have liked a little more punch. Next time, I think I will make extra marinade and reduce to a dipping sauce. I think this marinade would work well for chicken, too.

I love to cook, to feed people and to experiment. Unfortunately I have a very limited audience, so most of my creations are reserved for me alone. My BF is a sort of picky eater and all of my favorites he dislikes, so I'm learning how to get around lots of ingredients. Like mushrooms (so sad), tomatoes and onions... who cooks without onions? In this one way, it's almost a good thing that our schedules allow for only 3 meals a weeks together :-)
