  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, cream together butter, eggs, sugars and vanilla. Set aside.
  3. In large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. Stir creamed mixture into dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Add oatmeal, coconut, walnuts, raisins and dates, stir to combine.
  6. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until light brown.
  8. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
