"These are an old family favorite. I have been making these at Christmas since I was a little girl, and they are still a family favorite."

ingredients

  • 12 cup margarine
  • 40 regular marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon green food coloring
  • 6 cups corn flakes
  • red cinnamon candies (red hots will work)

directions

  • Melt margarine. Add marshmallows and cook stirring until marshmallows melt and mixture is syrupy. Remove from heat. Stir in coloring. Add Cereal. Stir until well coated. While still warm, make into wreaths.
  • Put cinnamon candy on top of wreaths.

  1. I've made these for years but no longer make mini wreaths, they take too long to shape. I pour them into a greased bundt pan, invert them onto a pretty plate, and slice them for serving.
     
  2. I packed it into a bunt pan,,it will be a cool center piece,thanks
     
  3. We always made these at Christmas, and have passed the recipe to our young families. The picture is deceptive, as ours always came out much more green. Maybe we used a little bit more green food coloring or perhaps a different brand. Anyways they are so good.
