- 1 1⁄2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
- 1 cup quick oats
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons pepitas
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
directions
- Mix all ingredients well. Spread on a baking sheet and toast in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.

I am a stay at home mom of a beautiful baby girl. I simply love looking for new recipes - I especially enjoy testing them!
My favorite cook book is Betty Crocker (of course!). I love it because it tells me how to cook all those basic things that I should remember but usually don't - like how long to boil an egg or what temperature to cook a roast. I also own a few old community cookbooks that were my grandmothers - they contain wonderful back to basics recipes. Right now, I would like to buy the "More With Less" and "Extending the Table" cookbooks because I am interested in the idea of eating lower on the food chain.
