Homemade Cheese Ball

- 1 (16 ounce) package Velveeta Mexican cheese
- 1 (8 ounce) light cream cheese
- 1 ounce sliced almonds (optional)
- Ritz cracker
directions
- Let the cream cheese and Velveeta come to room temperature.
- Mix the cream cheese and Velveeta together with a mixer. (It is easier to chop up the velveeta before this step.).
- Let chill for 1 hour.
- Form cheese into ball and cover with almonds.
- Cover and store in refigerator until served.
- Serve with crackers.

My husband and I were married on November 3rd, 2007 so no longer in the newlywed stage but still loving every minute of it. We just moved back to our hometown of Springfield after a year in the south for the military. My husband is an Army officer in the Guard and I am going back to school to pursue a career in nursing.
