- 2 1⁄2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 quart water
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 celery, sliced
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups egg noodles, cooked
directions
- Bring first 8 ingredients to a boil in a large pot. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken and allow to cool. Trim all meat from chicken. Cook egg noodles per package directions. Combine all ingredients; cook an additional 5 minutes.
