Directions

  1. In a large Dutch oven, brown ground beef & sausage; when done drain through a colander.
  2. Add it back to the Dutch oven and stir in chili powder, cumin and oregano. Cook for 2 minutes. Then stir in tomato paste.
  3. Saute mushrooms & celery in olive oil.
  4. Saute onion & green pepper, when almost done, add garlic and saute until just fragrant.
  5. Stir in all other ingredients and simmer for 2 hours on low.
