Simple and very good! I will make this instead of buying canned sauce in the future. It is easy to adjust to your own taste preference. I can't stand to waste food, so used the whole 15 oz can of tomato sauce instead of just a cup. Loving garlic, I used a full teaspoon and will use even more next time. The only salt is in the tomato sauce, so it's not bad for my blood pressure. Try it. You will like it!
