- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup oat bran
- 1 cup crushed almonds
- 1⁄2 cup whole grain quinoa
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup shredded coconut
- 1⁄2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1⁄2 cup wheat germ
- 3⁄4 cup unprocessed honey
- 1⁄4 cup light molasses
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup green pumpkin seeds
- 1⁄2 cup chopped dates
- 1⁄2 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon amaranth
directions
- Preheat oven to 250.
- Spread all ingredients except dates and cranberries on a cookie sheet (or 9 by 13 cake pan).
- Stir until well mixed.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Stir well.
- Bake another 20 minutes.
- When cooled, add the dried fruit.
