  1. Dissolve the coffee in the boiling water.
  2. Add the sugar and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool completely to room temperature.
  4. Add the vanilla and the vodka and mix thoroughly.
  5. Store in the refrigerator in a bottle or a pitcher with a tight fitting lid (I keep mine in a Lock & Lock pitcher).
