  1. These were delicious! I used 1/2 a yellow pepper and sauteed the onion and pepper with the meat while it browned. I also used brown sugar. Served on multigrain thin flat hamburger buns with sliced cheddar on top. What a great recipe- no need for the packaged stuff anymore!

  2. Very good and easy to make, I was looking for an "auction sloppy joe" recipe which has tomato soup in it. This is not it but very good in a traditional sloppy joe kinda way.!.

  3. Pretty good sloppy joes. Not terribly sweet, even with the sugar/splenda. I think we prefer sloppy joes where the onions and green pepper are a little more cooked (IE, had been cooked before hand). But a good solid, easy, meal. I served these on whole wheat buns alongside fried potatoes and steamed broccoli and cauliflower.

Husband and I are retired in Hawaii. I love cats, mystery novels, colored antique glassware, daisies, and General Hospital. I would rather reheat leftovers than cook, so I hunt for easy recipes.
