“Give it a chance, and you will fall in love with this recipe just like I did! I wouldn't recommend leaving any of the spices out, at least not the first time you make it, as I have found that even one missing spice makes this recipe less than it can be. However, I frequently skip the egg and bread crumbs, to make them egg and gluten-free, and they still turn out nicely. Bursting with flavor, one of my favorites! I like to serve them with sweet potatoes and Greek salad.”
