  1. These were good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written and we all enjoyed them.

  2. Great beans! I used real bacon bits and sauteed the onions/garlic/butter in bacon grease that I save saved in the cabinet. Great time saver with no splatter. Served this w/recipe#136919 and recipe#43023

  3. Made for Thanksgiving 2009. I found out while preparing this recipe that it's essentially the same way that my mother-in-law does her green beans. It's a good, low maintenance recipe that has a good flavor. There were barely any leftovers to enjoy the next day. I can see myself preparing this recipe as an everyday side as well as for holidays. Thanks for posting!!!!

  4. We are trying to eat more vegetables, and I'm glad we tried this recipe. DH and I both enjoyed this one. DH (the veggie-hater) even went back for seconds. I diced the bacon instead of cutting in half because I didn't want big pieces of bacon.

  5. These green beans were out of this world!! Very easy to prepare and wonderful flavor. We'll be adding this recipe to our favorites! Thanks AllieOop!
