Honey and Oat Cookies

"This recipe comes from "Chef Bobo's Good Food Cookbook" I haven't made these. This is another small batch recipe for those times when you only want a few cookies. it is easily up-sized if you want to make more."

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter and sugar together in a med bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the honey and egg yolk.
  • Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
  • Roll dough into 14 equal sized balls.
  • Place balls on prepared cookies sheets, leaving approx 3 inches between to allow for spreading.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and just firm.
  • Cool on a rack.
