  1. Blend all ingredients except green onions in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Let simmer for approximately 10 minutes, or for as long as you need on low heat while waiting for the chicken to cook.
  3. Stir periodically.
  4. After cooking, add 1/2 cup fresh cut green onions (scallions) and pour over chicken.
