  1. loved it thank you. i altered slightly and did 1/2 tbspn dijon and 1/2 tbspn course wholegrain mustard and also 1 more tbsn honey. had this on warm chicken salad-delicious!

  3. I hope Jamie O. doesn't claim this to be an original: it is a classical dressing, going way back. Having said that: it isn't a classic for nothing. It still is one of the simplest and best dressings for a wide variety of salads, and one of my most successful ones. For a bit of additional kick, you can replace the lemon juice with white wine vinegar.
     
  4. I think next time I'll reduce the amount of lemon juice. I found it just a tab strong, but overall it was good.

I live in Manchester, UK with my fiance and young son. I work at the local hospital in pediatrics and love my job. I also love cooking!! I have a sweet tooth but try and make healthy family meals, I'm not against some lovely treats now and then though :)
