  1. We really enjoyed this! I Added garlic and tarragon. This is something I would be be proud to serve to guests.

  2. Yummy,Yummy, this is the best Roasted Pork recipe. We really enjoyed this. I served it with baked sweet potatoes and a green salad. But, next time I am going to double the sauce, My husband really likes more sauce.

  3. This recipe made me look like a pro, being a novice cook. Easy to prepare, results were moist and delicious. My children were amazed and argued concerning leftovers for school lunches.

  4. Soooo good! I made it just as the recipe called for. My pork loin just happened to be about 2 lbs. I didn't catch it in time, and the temperature went a little higher, but the pork was succulent and the sauce was outstanding. A very simple dish with common ingredients. I served the pork with rice - great with the sauce. Will make this again and again.

  5. This is very good and very easy. After reading some of the other reviews, I would just like to comment that there is a difference between Pork Loin and Pork Tenderloin. If you used a tenderloin and thought it was "gray and dry" it is because you used the wrong cut of meat and probably overcooked it. I made a 4 pound loin and roasted it for 2 1/2 hours and tripled the sauce because it is sooooo good on rice.

Tweaks

  1. I was so impatient to get dinner going last night that I goofed up and made a mistake when preparing this recipe, but it didn't ruin a thing: this was delicious! I didn't notice that the chicken broth was separate from the other sauce ingredients, and so I mixed everything up, then looked at the recipe and went "Oops!" It didn't matter; this turned out very well. I made three small modifications: I doubled the sauce ingredients, I used freshly squeezed orange juice so I also added some freshly grated orange zest, and I used maple syrup instead of honey. This recipe is easy and quick enough to prepare for any family dinner, yet tasty and presentable enough for a company meal. I garnished my platter of pork slices with some fresh orange slices and was so pleased with dinner!

  2. Subbed lemon for OJ. Delicious both ways. Am going to sub lime and cilantro for OJ and thyme. That will be good too.

  3. We loved it. I added garlic and a teaspoon of crushed red pepper. Used rosemary instead of thyme. I only had a one-pound loin, but used the amount the recipe called for for the sauce. It cooked quickly and easily and was a golden brown. Served with fried corn and sauted green beans. I was looking for a new way to cook pork loin...this is it! Thanks!

  4. I appreciated that this recipe was so simple and easy to make, and yet on the plate, the dish seemed so fancy. I used rosemary instead of thyme. The Sauce was delicious.

  5. Dee-lish! I used Turkey Loin instead of Pork and did not add chicken broth (Turkey had its own plain marinade). Added some Rosemary...Simple and Delicious! : )
