  • preheat the oven to 350 degrees. place the sesame seeds on a baking sheet and bake for a couple of minutes. place in a saucer.
  • sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the center. slowly add the water and 1 tablespoon of honey, stirring as you go until you have a runny dough.
  • heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a small frying pan and pour in about a quarter of the dough mixture. as it cooks it will thicken.
  • turn the fritter over several times to brown both sides. remove from heat and place on a paper towel on a plate. repeat with the other portions of the mixture.
  • pour the remaining honey over the fritters. use tongs to pick up each fritter and coat it in the sesame seeds. eat while still warm, with your fingers or a fork.
