  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken (see tip)
  • 14 red cabbage, finely shredded (see note)
  • 12 green cabbage, finely shredded (see note)
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 100 g snow peas, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 23 cup 99% fat-free honey soy dressing
  • pita bread, to serve

  • Heat a small frying pan over low heat. Add sesame seeds. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until golden. Transfer to a small bowl.
  • Combine chicken, cabbages, carrot, green onions and snow peas in a large bowl. Pour over dressing. Toss to combine. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Serve salad with pita bread.

I live in Keilor Downs, Victoria in Australia. I am a receptionist in Melbourne. My favorite cook books are anything Weight Watchers or Simply 2 good 2 be true also any muffin or scone cook books. I love cooking easy stuff but I love a challange ocasionaly on the weekends when i have a bit more time. My pet peeve is how much capsicum/bell peppers are in recipes now as i am elergic to them.
