- 1 lb boneless pork shoulder, cut in strips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
- 1⁄2 lb fresh asparagus, cut in 2 in pieces
- 1 1⁄2 cups chopped fresh pineapple
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 -2 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
directions
- Cook pork over medium heat in hot oil until just browned.
- Stir in onion garlic and ginger,cook until tender crisp.
- Stir in pineapple till heated through.
- Combine soy sauce water honey and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Pour in skillet and cook until sauce thickens.
- Serve with hot cooked rice of your choice.
