Directions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp; remove bacon and drain on paper towel.
  2. To drippings, add sugar and cornstarch.
  3. Blend well.
  4. Stir in salt, pepper and vinegar.
  5. Heat until mixture boils and thickens.
  6. Stir in onion and drained beans.
  7. Cover and simmer over low heat 20-25 minutes,stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve with bacon crumbled over top.
