Hot Chocolate Nog

ingredients
- 1 quart eggnog
- 2 cups milk
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- miniature marshmallow
directions
- Add the first 3 ingredients to a saucepan; heat over medium heat, stirring constantly (do not boil).
- Remove saucepan from heat and add in bourbon; stir.
- Add the nutmeg; stir.
- Pour into 8 mugs; top with marshmallows and serve immediately.

Our eggnog was so strongly flavored we couldn't taste the chocolate at all. When we added much more chocolate syrup the whole concoction became oddly bitter. We will have to try again with another brand of nog. Sorry I couldn't give a better report. -
Made this for the Thanksgiving holidays, and we enjoyed this very much. I used only about half of the bourbon called for because we do not like out drinks quite this strong! I used the microwave to heat the liquid, and that worked just fine. I really liked the eggnog taste with the choclate.
