  • Pam cooking spray
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 12 cup instant hot chocolate powder
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 12 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (4 1/4 ounce) package vanilla frosting

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a 9 x 13 pan with aluminum foil and spray with Pam.
  • 2. Combine flour, hot chocolate mix, and salt in medium bowl.
  • 3. Beat butter sugar in another medium bowl with electric mixer on high until light and fluffy (about 3 min). Add egg and beat well. Slowly add flour mixture and continue until just combined, scraping the sides of the bowl.
  • 4. Spread dough evenly in the prepared pan. Bake until firm to touch about 30-35 minute Transfer to wire rack to cool for 5 minute Lift foil and cookies from pan and place on cutting board. Slice in half length wise and cut each half crosswise in 3/4 in pieces.
  • 5. After they have cooled, dot with frosting and let dry before storing.
