  1. The Hot toddy was a little too strong for tender Char:) I used 2 oz. of rum. It reminded me of dad giving me brandy in a tbsp. to drink when I was little, not too little, lol, and I would make a very funny face. Hahaha:) You got back old memories, Auntie Bev, with this recipe:)

  2. I was so cold all day I couldn't warm up! The thought of my Dad giving me a hot toddy when I was a little girl came to mind! This was good, didn't taste like I remember because all I had was rum and I think Dad used whiskey, but it did the trick - warmed me up! :-)

  3. This was VERY strong. Next time I would cut the rum in half. I did like the clove and lemon.

  4. This worked so well on my incredibly large very stuffed head from a nasty summer cold. I think I even had this few nights in a row. Wow did it help me sleep so much better! An * all natural* remedy that worked just as well for me as that coughing, sneeezing, stuffy head, fever so you can rest medicine. Much cheaper too! Thank you so much Bev for coming to my rescue and making me feel better! Made for *Beverage Tag*

  5. A little strong but I added an extra tsp of sugar, a cinnamon stick and a bag of raspberry tea and it dulled it a little. Drink it slow it definatly gives you that warm feeling in your bones!
