  1. Bravo Glitter, your recipe is excellent and about the closest to my mum's. The only differences are the addition of marjoram and lemon rind which much to our delight enhansed the flavor. Thank you for the posting and happy cooking. Cheers .. Kitty .. :)

  2. Very Good Simple to make .I only had 1/12 lbs of beef adjusted marjoram to 3/4 and covered with beef stock instead of water.I also added 2Tbls of flour to onion and garlic to thicken broth.Great work Glitter

  3. The recipe is great. I changed it a bit to my own taste. I added the following ingredients: - 100 gram tomato concentrate. - 600 gram tomatoes (peeld and chopped) - chicken soup flavour mix. I used only 7 water cups to make the soup more thick goulash soup more I cooked the soup for 6 hours in a regular pot.

  4. We followed the recipe except that we cooked in a crockpot for 6 hours. The result was that the meat just melted in the mouth and the flavour of the goulash was superb. Excellent recipe and the quantity of Paprika was just right for our palate.

  5. i found this recipe easy to follow and my wife and I both enjoyed the dish. My only criticism is that we found the paprica a bit overpowering and wondered if the amount was a misprint

I am an avid cook and recipe collector. I've been cooking since I was 9 yrs. old. I am the first American from my family so I cook many different European dishes, everything from west to east. If I had a month just to do what I would like to do...I would like to cook that month with a famous chef. I also write a bulletin for a Service to Mankind organization. Since I collect recipes anywhere I can see them, I've been asked to share them with my readers. So this site is wonderful not just for me!
