ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 8 green tea bags
- 1 piece fresh ginger, peeled and minced
- sugar or honey
directions
- Boil water.
- Remove from heat, add minced ginger and tea bags. Steep tea for ~3 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and strain tea into a pitcher. Refrigerate until cold & serve w/ sweetener if desired.

Very refreshing! Great recipe, especially considering the health benefits of green tea and fresh ginger. Allowed mine to steep longer cause I like strong tea. Green tea is the dominant flavor, but the hint of ginger is lovely. Sweetened mine with a bit of stevia, but honey would be very nice, too. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
