Iced Green Tea w. Orange Essence

"I love Green Tea, I can never seem to get it strong enough to serve over ice. So, I added a regular tea bag and a hint of Orange. This is a wonderful iced tea. You can add sugar if you prefer "sweetened" tea."

  1. Very nice, Shannon. And, yes, I did need to add some Splenda! The zest was a deal maker. And the tea ratio was just right. Thnx so much for posting. Made for Comfort Cafe Summer 2009.

  2. Love this recipe. I prefer it without sugar or sweetner. When I make it, I ususally double the recipe and keep it in the refigerator for up to a week.

  3. Very pleasant iced tea. Drinkable with or without sugar.

I have a growing family - 3 horses, 2 dogs (1 being a Great Dane)!, 2 children, 2 cats and a boyfriend. I work quite a bit either at work or on the farm taking care of the "children" - my boyfriend is a stay at home "step-dad" to all and is a former chef so we like to find new ways to cook old foods. This year we will be growing an organic garden and I am ever so excited about it. Organics are a large part of our lives, and they can really put a strain on your pocket book!
