I have not tried this recipe but intend to try it. A tip for the reviewers who could not find thick yogurt and used plain nonfat, you can thicken yogurt by straining the yogurt in a strainer or colander that has been lined with either a paper towel or a coffee filter. Just leave in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight until the yogurt has thickened to your liking. Depending on the base height of your strainer you may need to empty the collection bowel once or twice.

This was GREAT! I wish I could find thick yogurt in my area. Since I couldn't find thick stuff, I just went with the no-fat kind. The flavour is so nice and fresh. It isn't overly sweet or overpowering at all. We dipped kiwi, mango, banana and watermelon in. watermelon wasn't that great with the dip. Banana and kiwi were quite nice. But the mango was simply fantastic! The creamy sweetness of the dip really worked well with the tang of the mango. Excellent! I can't wait to take this to a family reunion this summer. It looks so pretty in a crystal bowl. Thanks for a keeper!

I made this recipe exactly as stated only I used non-fat yogurt. This was a slightly tart, creamy dip. The non-fat yogurt may have added to the tartness, however it was not too tart. I only had bananas to dip in it and it was delicious. I really liked it. Great dip to use for a fruit tray! Thanks wildheart! Made in participation with the New Zaar Cookbook Tag game!
