"A recipe given to me by a parent at the Childcare Center I work at. I bake once a week with the children and am always looking for nut free and quick recipes. (yeild is a guesstimate right now)"

  • Preheat oven to 350F and line cookie sheets with parchment.
  • In a large bowl whip together margarine and icing sugar. Stir in vanilla until blended. Add flour and mix to form dough.
  • Roll dough into balls and lay on cookie sheet, press with a fork. Bake until golden brown (6-8 minutes maybe?).

Why "SoupCookie"? My cousin Ryan use to come to my house after school sometimes and was *always* hungry! So he used to make his version of chocolate chip cookies and I can't remember what he did or didn't do right but the cookies never failed to come out flat and doughy and gooey. We'd put them in a bowl with milk and eat it with a spoon.....sooooo good!
