  1. Oustanding!! Loved it. Husband took the rest to work and shared with his co-workers.

  2. This is a keeper! Instead of the chili and cayenne, I used about a quarter of a tin of chipotles in adobo sauce. I also spread refried beans on the tacos. Instead of packaged taco seasoning, I used Bulk Taco Seasoning Mix Recipe (recipe 4292) with reduced salt. Yum yum yum yum yum!

  3. We really enjoyed this! I loved the green onions and was surprised at the difference in taste/texture that it gave over typical white onions. I used one pound of turkey and one of hamburger and realized too late that I only had one pack of taco seasoning so I used it and just increased the other seasonings slightly. My husband asked me to pack up the leftovers so he could share with a friend at work (and he never eats leftovers, so this is a huge compliment)!

  4. Awesome. I made this dish on a sunday night for my husbands side of the family. It was delicious. Everyone commented that it tasted just like the local Mexican restaurants food. There were NO leftovers, and they wanted the reciped!! We will definately make it again!

  5. I made this for Freezer Tag 2008. This was really good and easy to make. Since I was making this for freezer tag, I followed the instructions up to step 14. After that I wrapped and froze. I pulled this early in the am and let thaw then continued with step 15. I did add another 1/2 cup of water before placing it in the oven. I followed the recipe as written other then I didn't add the cayenne pepper or the green onions as my family doesn't like things too spicy nor are they crazy about onions. I cooked this for 30 minutes. We added sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. It was like eating a taco salad.
