  1. Melt butter in skillet.
  2. Add onions and sauté until soft.
  3. Add any herbs or spices of choice (you don't have to add anything and it will still turn out well!) Put chicken broth, rice, and onion mixture into a a casserole dish.
  4. Cover and bake at 350°F for 45 min to 1 hours. (Depending on the type of rice you use, this could only take 35 minutes so you should watch the liquid in this).
