Irish Gaelic Steak

"This is yummy and a nice change from barbequed steak. Comfort food at it's best, straight from the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland where this gaelic steak is their 'house special'."

  1. I made this tonight. I modified it by adding a little less whisky, a little more butter, and only one KC strip for my husband. I also seared the steak, removed it while I made the sauce and then returned the steak to continue cooking it in the oven. He absolutely flipped over this. Will definitely make this again soon.

  2. This was really delicious. It's definately a keeper. Even my DH liked it and he is very hard to please.

  3. This was just plain fantastic! I had to make a couple of changes since I didn't have a few things on hand. I used spicy brown mustard, Wild Turkey Bourbon, and 2% milk. I served it with oven roasted potatoes, and steamed green beans. I made it for my family and some company at the last min. and it was a huge hit. Even my little kids liked it. It was very easy and took almost no time to prepare. I am looking forward to trying it with all of the listed ingredients. Thank you for posting this, it's a keeper!
