Isabelle's Mustard Pickles

"I got this recipe from a dear client of mine, who has since passed on. I made these last year and am so glad she passed the recipe on to me. They are simple to make and very delicious. I can not remember for the life of me how many jars I got out of this recipe, but I guessed and will correct it when I make them again. Guessed on the prep and cooking times too."

  • Peel and slice the cucumbers and the onions. Sprinkle with the 3 tablespoons pickling salt and let stand overnight. Drain in the morning.
  • Boil together the brine ingredients until they are thickened. Pour over pickles. Boil 15 minutes or more. Put into hot sterile jars.
